Mutant Draik

My first try at drawing a neopet. Was really board and looking for something to draw so decided on my Ultimate Dream pet from Neopets - the Mutant Draik.

With this picture I was actually trying to draw a normal dragon and I started with the wings but when my first few attempts failed I moved onto the draik design. I moved from the wings to the body and did the head last.

I did a few trials of original Draik head designs at first but those sort of fail miserably so I gave up and just altered the base design from the original neopets image.

Overall I am fairly impressed with how the whole thing turned out, especially the coloring, Took me a good 15 hours to do the whole thing. I am very fussy with my art.

Later on I might end up drawing his lower half as well but not have the muse at the moment - so enjoy
